How we make a suit

From fabric to finished suit.

Six steps, each checked and recorded, so every suit is made the same way and nothing is lost on the way.

  1. Fabric in, checked

Every parcel is logged when it arrives. Bills are counted lump by lump; short or faulty fabric is charged back to the supplier.

  2. Cut in lots

Each lot follows one design. Front, back, salwar and dupatta are cut to the design’s measure and kept in their own godowns.

  3. Dyed

Components go to our dyers on a challan and come back checked; anything patchy is re-dyed at no cost to the lot.

  4. Embroidered and hand-finished

Fronts go for embroidery, lace or handwork, each piece traced to its lot.

  5. Stitched

Complete sets go to our tailors; finished suits come back and are checked before they are counted.

  6. Ready

A lot is complete when every suit is in finished stock, with its cost known to the rupee.
